Bar Azita is a family run restaurant owned by Nick & Julie Pike. They moved back to the UK in March 2007 after living for 5 years in the south of Spain with their 4 children. They wanted to create an independent local restaurant that captures the laid back, Mediterranean style of eating fresh healthy food.
Members of the family regularly work in the restaurant and Nick enjoys being the host, making sure that his guests enjoy the food and ambience.
The open plan kitchen gives customers the chance to see Alberto and Eduardo cooking on the flaming charcoal grill. These two chefs have been with Bar Azita since the Pikes took over and never fails to produce excellent food of a consistently high standard.
Bar Azita Lizards
All the wacky and colourful lizards you see at Bar Azita are available to buy. The lizards come in four different sizes and a variety of colours.
They are made in Haiti from recycled oil drums and painted by local people. Our supplier is a member of the Fair Trade Federation which means that every purchase goes to help the artisans who make them.
